Happy holidays, guys, and if you’re in New York, I hope you’re not too badly snowed in!

I’ve been in Florida for a week, and it’s been an amazing holiday for family, books and movies. My favorite reads so far are

The Arrival, by Shaun Tan (Best present ever. Graphic novel-esque. Can’t describe. Just read it.)

The Reader, by Bernhard Schlink (just as good as watching Kate Winslet in the movie!)

and I’m in the middle of The Telling, by Ursula K. LeGuin.

*Sigh*
