I’m leaving for San Francisco tomorrow. I’ve never spent so much time around cartoonists–classes, apartments, book releases, conventions, bars–and I have to say, I like it. This sketchbook page is from an evening at L. Nichols‘ place in Red Hook. Lotsa cartoonists, good conversation, homemade pizza and apple cake, looking through each other’s sketchbooks, and bonding over a random hail storm. Whatta night!
