This is how I’ve been spending the past few days, scanning all my sketchbooks from October to now, and getting them ready to post. It’s pretty satisfying, considering I’ve been talking about doing this since I got on the ship!

Liz and I are sitting in the non-smoking bar on the ship; the “crew bar” is the smoking, dancing, loud-music bar. The staff bar has a pool table, a TV, and a bunch of tables and couches, so there are people in there all day. There’s one clump of couches I call the “introvert corner,” where people crowd around the outlets with their laptops, watching movies, Facebooking or Skyping in various languages.

I consider myself a bit of a technophobe. I only bought an iPod last year, and when I did, I accidentally set it into Korean language mode five minutes after it came out of the box! So it’s kind of a surprise to me to be suddenly having a total love affair with my new toys. But that’s how it is. Anyway, I have to finish this up and go to rehearsal.
