I know it’s not the official day for a new post, but here’s an illustration of my Sunday in St. Croix, where I uploaded this week’s cartoons.

I was looking at Sarah Glidden’s blog about her watercolor process–for How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less, which I heard a lot about this fall–and she mentioned using a light yellow wash over the non-sky parts of the page. I wanted to try it out, and this image was more or less burned into my head after it happened. See, this sort of thing doesn’t happen to me too often.
