A quick note about the comic, since some readers were confused:
Jewish holidays begin at sundown, and end on sundown the next day. So the Sabbath begins on Friday night, which is when the Shoulder Angel notices that it’s also Yom Kippur, one of the holidays surrounding the Jewish New Year.
