I have a couple of close friends in San Francisco, so I stretched out my visit for APE to almost a week. My friends had work, classes, in-laws and such to plan around, so I explored a bit on my first day. It was fun; after I found my coffee perch (By the way: Read Atonement!) I looked around Market Street.

Every port I’ve been to has sidewalk stands with earrings and necklaces, but after 3 years of ships, I still enjoy looking. This time, a vendor called “Wheels” started chatting with me about San Fran’s early indie comics scene, so I got a cool necklace for $10 and a minicomic. (Yay, bartering!)
