2 Train, 11:30pm

Ever experience a momentary blur between fiction and reality? I’d just sat down on the subway, still spacey from watching “Cabaret.” Falling asleep, not looking forward to the hour-plus ride home. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw size 11 black satin shoes and fishnets… It made my night.
